Lost

[Nightshade]

She gave an evil smile before she put a finger to her lips "I didn't have any....and I'm not telling them now." she purred to him softly, lavender eyes shimmering with amusment.

[Iceman]

*Iceman sat down.*
"I'm bored."

[Nightshade]

Nightshade turned to look up at the beams, judging, before she said"Well, like I said before....you might want to leave. I don't want to really hurt anyone right now. And if one of your friends come around, they're going to act rash, and I'm going to have to protect myself." With that she did a few short hops before she reached her beam again and laid down on her back. "But if you're not planning to leave, here's a question. What's you're gift? I can tell it has something to do with ice just by the name you gave me..."

[Iceman]

*Iceman touched a pole next to him and pole began to freeze.*
"Eh?"

[Nightshade]

She eyed the ice as it crept up the pole "Interesting. Now I'll show you mine." At that a large black panther crept out of the shadows near Iceman and gave him a kitty cat grin. "That's Jasper...he's a little more friendly then Fang. At least around people."

[Iceman]

*Iceman jumped back.*
"Woah there big guy..."

[Nightshade]

Jasper just tilted his head at him before looking up at where Nightshade reclined and gave a rumble that caused her to look over the edge. "Now, you just be quite or I'll send you back." she warned the cat, who just seem to give a cat like chuckle before curling up under the beams shadow. "Don't worry about him, he'll only do what I tell him too....even if he does find me amusing..."

[Iceman]

*Iceman laughed, but half of it was nervous.*
"Yea. I've never met someone who could do the things you can."

[Nightshade]

She continued to look over the edge, her chin resting on her crossed arms, and smiled "Well, I'm special that way. In many ways really. I'm just.....unusual."

[Iceman]

"You are a mutant though... aren't you?"

[Nightshade]

She giggled at that "Of course I am. But I was talking about my personality really. I'm still not what most people consider normal."

[Iceman]

"Normal around here being like the rest of them. Mutants aren't welcome around here, I just know it. Nobody has said anything yet, but I'm sure they wouldn't like us if they knew."

[Nightshade]

She gave a soft snort "I don't really care if they like mutents or not. This is my home now, just like theirs. And I plan to stay."

[Iceman]

"I plan to stay too... I just don't know what they are going to do if they find out."

[Nightshade]

She waved a hand in the air, almost dismissively "Probably try to arrest us, get rid of us some how, what ever they can. I don't really know....I just plan to protect myself from them if they try."
