The world plummets into disaster and chaos. Criminals rule the streets, there no longer is any law or refuge. The rich rule the underworld which is the whole world.
But there is one place of refuge - THE ISLAND! ON the island only the ones most priveledged get to stay - the last paradise on earth. The people who go are young and beautiful, living on the nicest fruits and food. They stay in the academy where they learn ways of fighting as well as normal subjects, because eventually - in groups of four all students who complete the course return to the world of darkness to fight crime as superheroes of the darkness and restore peace to the world.
