Sitting and thinking...

[Iceman]

Iceman was walking behind the trees as a strange mutant approached him. The mutant grabbed Iceman throwing him into the middle of the park.

"Hey, what gives!?" Iceman yelled at the mutant.
'Fool,' he replied. 'You and Remy are going to die!'

The mutant charged at Iceman.

[Gambit]

The Mutant picked Iceman up by his collar and was about to throw him, when something exploded against her back. It was a charged card. The Mutant stumbled onto the grass, dropping Iceman. In the distance, one could see Gambit's red eyes glowing in the dark. "You picked the wrong people to mess with, Lady!"

The female Mutant got back up. She had an angry expression on her face. All of a sudden she transformed into a blue woman wearing a white outfit. "Mystique!" Gambit exclaimed. "I should 'a known. I felt like ah was bein' watched as ah entered the park! Whaddaya want with us?"

[Iceman]

"Wait a minute..." Iceman said slowly. "Er, Mystique!"

Apparently Mystique still had a grudge with the X-Men... and she was also pretty mad that Gambit got chosen as an Acolyte instead of her. So she had a bone to pick with both of them.

'Your going to regret that!' Mystique called while attempting to jump kick Gambit.

[Gambit]

The kick hit Gambit's chest. He flew back and slammed against a tree. "Ah know about yo rivalry with 'de X-Men, Mystique, but whaddaya want with me?" Gambit asked, pulling out some cards and hurling them at her. Mystique dodged the cards, and kicked Gambit in the chest again. Gambit leaned against the tree and covered his chest with his arms. He was in great pain. "Always thinking your the best, eh Remy?" Mystique snapped. "I'm after you, not only because you thought that you were too good to join the Brotherhood, but also because you kidnapped my daughter and tried to use her!"

[Iceman]

Iceman got up shooting an ice bolt straight for Mystique. Instinctively, she flipped out of the cross kicking Bobby onto the floor.

"Ow! Mystique's done some practicing!"

Mystique leaped at Iceman but Iceman rolled out of the way. Her kick sent a hole in the tree as she then uppercutted Bobby.

[Gambit]

Remy got up and hurled more cards at Mystique. "Like ya'll didn't use her?" He said angrily, as the cards nailed Mystique in the back and exploded. Mystique fell to the ground, but then got back up quickly.

[Iceman]

Mystique shifted into a crow and flew up in the trees as Iceman bridged towards Gambit.

"Looks like we're working together again," he said.

[Gambit]

Iceman helped Gambit up. "Indeed it does." He responded. He saw Mystique, still disguised as a bird, flying towards Iceman. "Iceman! Watch out!"

[Iceman]

OOC: Woah, I helped Gambit get up?

At the last second Mystique morphed into herself nailing Iceman's back. Iceman was slammed into the park bench.

[Gambit]

OOC: My bad. Didn't know that was considered Goding someone. Some boards aren't as strict as others.

Gambit pulled out his staff and swung it at Mystique. Mystique caught the staff, and then knocked it out of Gambit's hand.

[Iceman]

OOC: Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. Oh wel... lol

Mystique slipped under Gambit and grabbed the staff. She then grabbed a branch, swung around it, and kicked Iceman. Then turning to Gambit she charged holding the staff in front of her.

[Gambit]

Thinkly quickly, Gambit took off his trench coat. When Mystique got close, Gambit moved to the side grabbed her, wrapping the trench coat around her. He charged the trench coat with kinetic energy. He smirked. "Alright, lady. Drop the staff."

[Iceman]

'Gladly' she replied.

Mystique spun around her legs attempting to to trip Gambit.

Iceman got up sprinting towards Remy.

[Gambit]

Remy almost stumbled when Mystique tried to trip him. "Don' even try." Remy taunted. Mystique continued to struggle and kick, but it was no use. Finally, she dropped the staff.

[Iceman]

Iceman began freezing her to the ground.

'Fool! Let me go!' Mystique cried.
