Remy hurled the charged branch at Pietro, but Pietro got up quickly and dodged it. Thinking it would be good to try his luck against a different opponent, Pietro approached Iceman.
Seeing that Pietro had retreated from him, Remy turned to Mystique. He pointed to her scorched hair. "Like the new look, chere." He said, smirking.

Mystique switched targets and then charged at Gambit. Quicksilver began spinning around Iceman creating a mini whirlwind. Iceman was lifted up and knocked into at tree. He kept hurling random ice bolts hoping to freeze Pietro's feet to the ground. Pietro was just too fast.

"How dare you mock me!" Mystique growled, furiously. She lept forward and kicked Gambit across the face. Gambit hit the ground, right next to his staff. He grabbed his staff and rolled to the right, barely dodging Mystique's dropkick.

"What's about with her kicks? And this stupid speedy kid!"
Iceman was now getting impatient with Quicksilver. He held out his hands as a bolt of ice froze Quicksilver's feet to the ground.
"How do you like that?" he asked.
At that moment Blob stepped on the ice. The ice shattered but in doing so Quicksilver also fell to the ground.

Gambit got up and faced Mystique. Mystique glared at him. "You'll think twice before you kidnap my daughter, again." Mystique yelled as she karate chopped Gambit in the arm. Gambit grabbed his arm in pain, and Mystique punched him in the face.

As Iceman finally turned into ice he attempted to punch Blob. The punch bounced right off as Blob threw him into a tree.
"You need to stop that!"

Mystique tried to throw a second punch and Remy, but Remy caught it. Realizing that Mystique could not be bested in close combat, Remy jumped backwards and pulled out some cards. He charged them up, and hurled them towards Mystique. They detonated against Mystique's chest, and the explosions caused her to fly backwards. She hit the ground.

"Darling, where are you?" he asked.
Iceman leaped on Quicksilver tackling him to the ground. Blob neared him, slowly, but surely.
'Mystique? Where'd you go?'
"You probably ate her!" Iceman snapped.

"Would ya min' givin' us a hand?" Gambit shouted to Darling, frustrated. "Why are ya'll jus' sittin' down like 'dat? Ya hurt?" Remy's turned his attention to Mystique again, who had just gotten up. Remy reached into his pocket, only to find that he was out of cards. "Ummm...help? Anyone? I'm out of cards..."

Iceman dashed out of the way of Blob's strike. Blob ended up hitting Pietro. Iceman bridged towards Darling and Gambit.
"This isn't good..."

Darling ran and jumped on Mystiques back and started choking her with her hands set on fire.

Pietro screamed at Bob. "You idiot! Do I look like Iceman?"
He turned to see Gambit charging towards Mystique and Darling. "Remy's not gettin' past me!" He said, arrogantly, as he darted towards him.
