Nightshade walked silently in the park, the full moon shinning down on her to turn her white hair almost silver. Lavender eyes searched the dark for her moving shadowy companion. "Now, where did they go to now.....Jasper, you silly feline, where's your furry tail hiding at this time?"

Gambit found himself sitting in the park, alone. After what happened at the Dome, he knew he could never go back to the Acolytes. Right now, it seemed as like he only had two choices: 1) join the X-Men, or 2) remain alone.
He saw a woman with coal black skin passing him. She appeared to be looking for something. Here skin was so black, that it bordered on purple, and she had white hair. Remy decided that she had to be a mutant. He called out to her. "Howdy, chere. What brings 'ya to 'da park 'dis late at night?"

Nightshade seemed startled by him and had just a little problem following his accent, but she smiled when she did "I'm uhh.....just looking for a companion of mine."

Nightshade chuckled at that "No, I don't believe you would have seen him....." she replied as she took the offered seat. "You won't see him unless he wants to be seen...."

"Hmmm..." Remy guessed that she was referring to a pet of some sort, most likely a large dog. "Well, ah was a bit 'closa to your side, 'till recently. Ah used to be a 'memba of Magneto's Acolytes, but ah helped the X-Men today. Ah, ah helped them save a hostage Magneto was holdin'...a boy named Lupine. He can turn into a wolf. An' now 'ah now that ah'll never be accepted back on their team again." Remy shook his head. "Ah don' really know where 'ta go, now."
"Ah'm Remy LeBeau. And you are?"

"Lupine? I know who you're talking about...." she said before turning slightly to hold out her hand to him with a friendly smile "I'm Orrl or better known as Nightshade. Oh and you could always join us.....we don't have many...."

Remy shook her had and smiled. "Ah don' like Mystique, 'an she don' like me. I wouldn't be able to fin' a place for myself in the Brotherhood house because of that. Ah...kidnapped her daughter and used her to help save mah father a while ago. Mystique 'neva forgave me for it, but thankfully, chere...er Rogue did."

"She hasn't been home for a while, but if she found out ah was livin' 'en her home, she'd be mighty ticked." Remy stood up, and pointed to a shadowy form that was leaning against a tree. "'Dat yo friend?" He asked. "Listen, ah'm thinkin' about headin' down to 'da Nigiht Club. Ol' Remy can steal some drinks 'fo us. Like to join me?"

She grinned as she looked in the opposite direction he said as a large panther padded right behind Remy "Actually, that's him. Jasper, you leave him alone...." she added to the feline, who gave her a purring rumble. "And sure....I'll join ya....it's a nice enough night...."

Remy reached out to pet the panther, but it growled. Remy quickly pulled his hand away. "Alrighty, then. Let's go."
