Nightshade went into the rec room, steps always silent, and lounged on the couch in front of the television. Finding the remote under a couple of papers she started channel surfing "Let's see....let's see. What to watch?"

" Anything good?"
Shauni had been wandering around the Recreation room, and had heard someone flipping through the channels, and have become curious. Once she saw the other girl, she was relieved that there was at least one other female here.
She kept her distance, not knowing if the other mutant was friendly or not. Again, she wanted to fit in and not make any problems for herself. This was, after all, now her home.

Nightshade made a face at the television "Naw....nothing but junk....not even any movies are on yet...." she replied. She looked over the back of the couch to smile at Shauni "I'm Nightshade by the way..."

Shauni gave a light smile. " 'ello there Nightshade, my name's Shauni."
She looked over at the television for a second, shaking her head. " Ugh, they never have anything good on. Darn cable. Pfft. Make you think it's so great, huh?"
She flashed Nightshade another one of her cheesy grins.

"Excatly....it's more amusing to play a game of chess....and I suck at chess....stragagy has never been one of my skills." she told her as she sunk back comfortably in the couch.
