Finding a Place

[Wanda]

"$1500 a month? Are you kidding me?! For this little hole - Yeah, the best you can do my as- ... Hello?"

Hissing venomously, Wanda slammed the payphone receiver back on its hook. That was the second realtor to hang up on her this week, and she was beginning to get extremely frustrated with the whole process. The first guy laughed at her when she told him she was 18 and wanted to rent a shop, as though she was trying to pull some kind of prank.

F***er...

Wanda sighed and turned to look at the empty storefront with the 'For Rent' sign posted in the window. The place was tiny (she'd already broken in once to take a look around for herself), but it was the perfect spot to open a magic shop. She didn't know how well Bayville would take to a store of that calibur, but at this point she really didn't care. She needed to do something. Running her own business seemed like the perfect way to claim her independence.

Plus it would be ideal for getting away from the rest of the Brotherhood once in a while.

It was time to give up for the day, go back home, find a book to read or continue working on her custom jewlery.

An unfortunate pebble turned into her entertainment. She idly kicked it ahead of her as she started walking back toward the boarding house.

[Jubilee]

Jubilee had just run out of the Mansion and had been walking for a long time, she wasn't quite she were she was. And at this point didn't really care. She became bored and stared to shot fire works from her hand. She was to busy to notice a girl walking opposite of her and Jubilee accidently threw on at her feet.

"Oh, my god look out" She said as the firewoks exploded at her feet.

[Wanda]

Wanda gasped and shot sparks of her own toward the oncoming blast without thinking of the repercussions. The plasma scattered and started firing off in every direction, lighting up the entire street. Wanda was thrown backwards from the recoil and landed on her back.

"What the h-" she shakingly lifted herself up on her elbows and shot a glare at her attacker. "Oh... It's one of you guys." She groaned as she started to get to her feet. "Is there some kind of new war going on I haven't heard about yet, or did you decide to kill me out of sheer boredom."

[mimic]

*Mimic was walking down the street when suddenly the fireworks flew towards him. He used his wing to try and block it.*
"What the f*ck!? One of you burnt my wings!"

[Jubilee]

Jubilee was new to the X-mansion and didn't know what this girl was talking about, she rushed over to her.

"Oh, my god. Im so sorry it was a accident and the same for you" She said talking to Wanda and then the strange man.

"And what are you talking about a war?" Jubliee said confused of what she meant

[mimic]

"It seems as though she's a new little X-Man. Since I used to be one let me explain."
*Mimic's wings twitched as he looked up and then back at her.*
"Alright, the X-Men, your team, are the so-called good guys. Whereas her team, the Brotherhood are the so-called bad guys. Bad guys and good guys fight. It's what they do."

[Wanda]

Wanda rolled her eyes at Mimic. "You again?"

It'd taken her a while to get over what he had said the other day about not having real memories. She chaulked it up to a bad tuna sammich.

She brushed the sleeves of her coat off and turned to Jubilee. "Never mind, kid. It was an accident, so I'm not going to kick your butt... this time."

[mimic]

"Wanda, I want to apologize for the other day. I didn't mean to freak you out or piss you off. I am sorry. But I'm not sorry for what may happen. And if you see your dad, tell him Mimic is back and lookin for him."
*Mimic turned and continued to walk down the street.*

[Jubilee]

"Oh, Im really sorry. I don't want to fight you. I really don't do the fighting thing, and Im not sure that i want to even be a X-man. But I would just talk" Jubilee said realizing that what she said was extremely stupid. She said walking over to the girl.

[mimic]

*Mimic heard what he said and shook his head as he was walking away.*
"Kids. Man, the X-Men's standards have really dropped since I left."
