Wolverine had gotten word from Nick Fury about something strange happening in Madripoor, Fury knew what to say to get Wolverine to go see him, Madripoor is important to Wolverine, so he went. He parked his bike in their usual secluded meeting spot and waited for Fury. The one eyed Colonel appeared a few seconds later to discuss matters involving the Principality of Madripoor. An eye patch was something Wolverine was also used to wearing, since on Madripoor he was known as Patch, but that's another story for another time. Turns out, there wasn't anything wrong with Madripoor, other than usual that is, Fury wanted Wolverin to go along on an espionage mission, they could use his, 'skills'. "No way Fury, I don't work for you anymore and I appreciate it if in the future you'd leave me out of your plans, got it bub?" he told Nick Fury. Their friendship was a complicated one, friends at time, neutral with eachother at others, but never completely on good terms, the truth is that Fury is one of the good guys even if Wolverine's methods are no longer the same as his. "You know better than to try and follow me bub." says Wolverine as he gets on his bike and rides off. He wanders around New York city for a while to clear his head and blow off some steam.

OOC: Mimic used to be a member of the X-Men. Plus he battled Wolvie quite a few times.

((yeah that much I know, are you the mimic from the normal timeline or from the alternate universe where he's a part of the Exiles? When did he and Wolverine fight, I know when Wolverine got near him he absorbed his healing capabilities and awakened from his coma but I'm not too familiar with the character other than in the main timeline he's part of the Brotherhood and in the alternate timeline he's part of Exiles, anyway I was just wondering how he knows Wolverine's real name when even he doesn't know it.))
Wolverine caught a familiar scent in the air and knew he was being followed, and by who, "Why can't I ever just be left alone." he growled and began riding to a more secluded area.
